WHAT IS THIS POSITION ABOUT?

Operation and Maintenance of Building Management System not limited to coordination with key support on software. Support project improvement requiring alignment. Support robustification standard

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronics and Communication Engineering or any related engineering course.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar position or at least 5 years experience in the construction industry supervising BMS, Automation, Electrical, or Green Energy installation and coordination.
  • Good English communication skills
  • Advanced programming skills preferably in KNX or any similar systems
  • Knowledgeable SAP EAM, ERF (or any related system)

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Operation and Management
  • Responsible for operation, maintenance, and repair of:
  • Building Management System
  • KNX light and WAREMA blinds
  • Roles:
  • Executes electrical and electronic activities on-site as directed including:
  • Checks, analyses, and troubleshoots various electrical, electronic, or electro-mechanical system drawings for correct operation and to design components of a larger system; prepares scope of work.
  • Performs investigations, and prepares special project reports with instrumentation and process control equipment, system control, or operational problems.
  • Adjusts, verifies, aligns, and modifies circuitry and components and records with unit performance.
  • Permitting compliance with safety requirements and liaison and coordination with other Departments as required.
  • Ensures equipment, materials, and tools are on hand for work execution. Reports resources and time utilized, job scope expansion, rework, or deferred maintenance as required; also keeping all tasks & activities logged and updated.
  • Prepares records and reports in a daily and weekly manner. Maintains logs and reading.
  • Supervises On-site Contractor work execution, if applicable
  • Monitors and understands Building Management System warnings and protocols and must be able to make quick analyses and responses.
  • Ensuring electrical and electronic spare parts availability for scheduled and projected jobs and preliminary liaison with warehouse department, PPO, and supplier/vendor.
  • Responsible for operation, maintenance, and repair of:
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Maintain updates and organize documentation to keep records not limited to trends, supplier performance, and analysis.
  • Ensure documentation is aligned on IMS documentation set standard
  • Contract & Compliance:
  • Ensure contracts for outsourced services are timely updated.
  • Ensuring work compliance to standards, tolerances, and fits & working following sound engineering practices on all jobs, EHS procedure, governing local regulation and corporate guidelines.
  • Any modification in the system is aligned with the Management of change and robustification standards.
  • Coordination & Communication:
  • Assist with Equipment Problems Trouble-shooting and Basic Root Cause Analysis and Development of Solutions.
  • Liaison with & assisting other Engineering Departments as required.
  • Safety and Improvement
  • Involved in project improvement requiring support in building management systems and other related activities
  • Understand health and safety aspects of their work and learn about potential hazards, know and maintain required control measures to keep their workplace healthy and safe.
  • Always demonstrate safe behavior, report incidents and near misses to their supervisor, report identified unsafe conditions and behaviors to their supervisor, and eliminate them within their authority and ability.
